Daniel Elena

About Daniel

Daniel Elena is the most successful co-driver in WRC history, having taken 79 victories in the top-flight alongside Sébastien Loeb. A driver in the French club rally scene in the mid-nineties, Daniel became a co-driver in 1997. Joining forces with Sébastien, they became an instantly successful partnership. Moving up to the WRC class in 2002 would mark the beginning of a defining period in the sport. Taking their first win in Germany and missing out on the title by a single point in 2003, the following season saw the start of an incredible run of nine consecutive titles. The crew made a spectacular return from retirement in 2018 with a three-event program that included a win in Spain – and heralded a new chapter as Daniel joins Sébastien for six events for Hyundai Motorsport in 2019.
