About James
Having occupied Craig’s co-driver’s seat at the final round of the 2022 WRC season, James has been trusted to take over full-time from fellow Irishman Paul Nagle in 2023. However it will not be the first time James has competed in one of our vehicles, as he has shared an i20 R5 and i20 N Rally2 with Josh McErlean over the past few years.
James’s rallying career began in 2012, with the then 20-year-old taking part in a series of national events. In 2017, he started hitting the stages outside of the British Isles as part of a selected program in the FIA European Rally Championship. In the latter part of 2021, he made his debut in WRC3 before progressing into WRC2 in 2022. Now alongside Craig in one of our i20 N Rally1 machines, James will be hoping to claim his first overall podium in WRC in 2023.
