About Mikko
Mikko’s rally career began in 2001 with Jarkko Miettinen in Finland – the same year he made his debut at his home WRC event. From 2002, he began to make appearances in the European Rally Championship and further WRC events alongside a variety of Finnish drivers.
Mikko first teamed up with Teemu for Vaakuna Ralli in 2015, where the pair finished third overall. They competed in eight WRC events that season in the WRC3 and WRC2 categories, and finished first in class at Rally Italia Sardegna (WRC3) and Wales Rally GB (WRC2). The duo went on to finish vice-champions of WRC2 in 2016 and claimed their first WRC podium together at the 2017 Rally de Portugal. The Finn will contest a WRC campaign in the second half of the 2023 season alongside Teemu.
