A late addition to the calendar, Arctic Rally Finland will host the second round of the 2021 WRC Championship. Lying just outside the Arctic Circle, the rally will take place in Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, a province known globally for being the home of Santa Claus. Crews face a gruelling task throughout the 4-day event, with over 260km of snow and ice stages to tackle, and temperatures that could drop as low as -30°C to endure. Arctic Rally Finland has never previously been part of the WRC calendar, and will be the first of two rounds to be competed in the Nordic nation in 2021. It is also the only pure winter encounter of the season.
