Returning for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 11-stage gravel rally is back with a bang. The 2023 season welcomes the 18th WRC running of Rally Mexico, with the mountainous region of Guanajuato inviting rally cars up to 2700m above sea level. The dusty tracks and high altitudes pose threat to the cars as they struggle to breathe in amongst the Mexican terrain. Despite taking place early in the year, the average highs in Guanajuato in March are 27 degrees Celsius. With our last classification at this event being P2, we return hoping for more success!
2020 Summary
The 2020 running of Rally Mexico was not the smoothest for us. Ott and Martin fought back to second place after a difficult start, however Dani and Carlos del Barrio were forced to retire while Thierry and Nicolas Gilsoul classified last.
