The José Carlos Bassi International Autodrome is a semi-permanent street track in the town of Villa Mercedes, 90km from the provincial capital San Luis. Opened in 2017, the circuit was announced as part of a new sports, education, and cultural complex to be built within La Pedrera, a large public park. The unique main straight opens up to 30 metres in width, before the course then tightens to 20 metres. The 18-turn circuit should be a perfect combination for touring car racing.
