WRC heads to Belgium in August for another thrilling event in the 2021 season, as the well-loved rally enters the championship for the first time. The tarmac event features narrow roads lined with large ditches, stages run in the dark and the potential for mixed weather – a tantalising combination. The rally was given a small makeover for a planned appearance on the 2020 calendar, which remains largely unchanged for the proposed 2021 schedule which will see crews tackle the routes between Ypres and Spa-Francorchamps. First held in 1965, Ypres Rally has established itself as one of the most demanding rallies in Europe, and counts Thierry and Craig among its illustrious victors.
