Following a successful trip to Circuit Pau-Arnos in 2021, WTCR is set to return to the region once again in 2022. Circuit de Pau-Ville will be the site of Race of France, a street circuit located less than 25km south-east of the 2021 venue, and a track that last hosted a world touring car race in 2009. 2.769km of road in the city of Pau forms the layout of the iconic circuit, which also presents 15 turns for the drivers to navigate. Circuit Pau-Ville is the first of three street circuits on the calendar, with races at Vila Real and Macau also scheduled to take place.
