i20 N Rally2 crew aim to repeat 2024 podiums at French event

2C Competition driver Eric Camilli and CHL Sport Auto’s Hugo Margaillan lead the Hyundai Motorsport customers into the second round of the French Tarmac Rally Championship at Rallye Rhône-Charbonnières. The two i20 N Rally2 drivers started the season with top-ten finishes – Camilli completing the podium, with Margaillan in sixth.

Both drivers return to action with the same co-drivers as in the season opener – Camilli with Thibault de la Haye, and Margaillan alongside Mathieu Coppa – for an event where both drivers stood on the podium last year.

The line-up of Hyundai Motorsport customers at the event is completed by Thomas Capelli and Marine Capelli in a second 2C Competition-run i20 N Rally2 on the weekend’s stages.

Trio of Hyundai Motorsport customer teams chase Belgian victory
The action of the Belgian Rally Championship resumes at the Rallye de Wallonie, with three i20 N Rally2 crews on the entry list. Lifelive Motorsport teammates Niels Reynvoet and Tom Rensonnet aim to show the same strong pace they displayed at Rally van Haspengouw to start the year, when Rensonnet and co-driver Johan Jalet finished fifth and Reynvoet was forced to retire from the podium battle, alongside his co-driver Kris D’Allieine. The pair will be hoping to bounce back with another strong result in the rally they won in 2024.

The trio of i20 N Rally2 crews is completed by Bastien Rouard and Félicien Poncelet. Rouard comes into the event with a podium in a national Division 2 round at the Rallye des Ardennes – based only 20 km south of this weekend’s event.
