Sébastien Metz joined Hyundai Motorsport at the start of the 2026 season, filling the newly created position of Operations Manager.
In his role, he will oversee all Hyundai Motorsport’s facilities and procedures, covering both the FIA World Rally Championship team and Genesis Magma Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
He brings significant experience from across a wide range of motorsports. Prior to joining Hyundai Motorsport, he was Motorsport Business Director with Multimatic, working on both LMDh and GT3 projects but has worked in a number of different roles in the WEC paddock. His career also includes time working in both manufacturer and customer teams in circuit racing and rallying.
Based at Hyundai Motorsport’s Technical Centre in Fechenheim, he will be responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
