Rally Sweden

There’s no business like snow business at Rally Sweden, the only pure winter rally on the WRC calendar.

Freezing conditions add an extra element to servicing the car, while snow, ice and low visibility are guaranteed on the stages. Yet this is still one of the fastest rounds on the calendar, with studded tyres giving drivers the grip they need to push to the limit on the forest roads. Snowbanks can be useful to help guide the car round corners, but get it wrong and you can get stuck – and lose precious time.  

2025 summary 

All three Hyundai Motorsport crews were top-three contenders in Sweden, but it was Thierry and Martijn who claimed a podium finish.
