Rally de Portugal
07 May 2026
Matosinhos
Always a highlight of the WRC, Rally de Portugal is an action-packed event.
The rough gravel rally combines sandy roads with unmissable spectacle, culminating in the iconic Fafe jump. Road sweeping is prominent here, with early runners often creating a faster racing line for those behind. However, temperatures are high, as is the risk of retirement. The abrasive roads are punishing on tyres, which can change from smooth to rocky from the first to second pass.
