Since then, he has gone on to compete in national championships, WRC2, European Rally Championship and the top-flight rally category of the World Rally Championship.

His diverse experience across this wide variety of surfaces and championships perfectly prepared him for 2024, where Adrien truly announced himself.

Alongside his co-driver and compatriot Alexandre Coria, he claimed five podiums and 11 stage wins, including two on Power Stages. Yet to claim his debut victory, Adrien aims to fight for silverware aboard his #16 Hyundai i20 N Rally1 in 2025.

Q&A with Adrien

What is your favorite WRC round and why?

I would say that Rallye Monte Carlo will always be in my heart because it was the one I experienced as a spectator before I was even rallying.  So, for sure, it's a special one for me in the championship and it’s also close to home.

What do you do to focus before a rally?

I try to have everything in place in my private life. Then, after that, I focus on my routine: preparing the stages, the recce, the setup of the car, etc. So, at least, I'm well in my head and I can push.

Which profession would you have chosen if you hadn’t become a rally driver?

I was studying medicine, I was in fourth year when I tried to continue rally and medicine at the same time but I couldn’t – I wanted to be a surgeon.

Who is your motorsport idol?

Juan-Manuel Fangio is truly inspiring to me.

What’s your secret to success?

My secret to success is to keep my foot flat on the pedal!
