French Tarmac Rally Championship

2C Competition driver Eric Camilli scored a second consecutive victory in the French Tarmac Rally Championship, winning Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine (September 5-6). Camilli and co-driver Maxime Vilmot finished the first day in style with the best time on Friday evening’s SS6 – the longest of the rally at more than 22km long. The consistently strong pace of their i20 N Rally2 left them in the perfect position to take advantage when the rally leader suffered a puncture on the penultimate stage. Their performance then allowed them to maintain the lead through the final stage to secure victory. They were joined on the podium by fellow i20 N Rally2 crew Hugo Margaillan and Mathieu Coppa, who finished third. The CHL Sport Auto driver sits third in the standings, one place behind Camilli who remains in contention for the 2025 title with three rounds remaining.

Austrian Rally Championship

Simon Wagner and Hanna Ostlender signed off on the Austrian Rally Championship season with a fifth victory of the year at the Land der 1000 Hügel Rallye (August 29-30). The duo, who had already clinched the national title at the penultimate round, led the final round from start to finish, winning nine of the 12 stages to win overall by nearly 30 seconds.

Slovenian Rally Championship

Rok Turk and Blanka Kacin completed the podium finishers at Rally Dolina zelenega zlata (August 22-23). The leaders in the Slovenian Rally Championship also led the rally until they were handed a two-minute penalty for early arrival at a Time Control. Though the punishment blunted their challenge for a fourth win in as many events in the national championship this season, the pair still left the event with third place and seven stage victories in their i20 N Rally2.

Australian Rally Championship

Hayden Paddon and John Kennard won nine of the ten stages on the opening day of the Gippsland Rally (August 23-24) in the Australian Rally Championship. Their dominant performance on the gravel rally gave them a lead of over a minute, allowing them to control their pace through the second and final day of the contest. The Kiwi pairing still won five of the eight stages and maintained their advantage.

FIA European Rally Championship

Czech driver Martin Vlček leads the ERC Master category points after a second win of the FIA European Rally Championship season at Rali Ceredigion (September 5-7). Vlček and co-driver Karolína Zubíčková were fastest in the category on 10 of the 12 stages, to finish an impressive 14th overall. Osian Pryce and Andy Hayes took their i20 N Rally2 to fifth overall after a consistent run on the Welsh roads.
