This is the Privacy Policy (‘Policy’) for this website which is run and provided by Hyundai Motorsport GmbH, Carl-Zeiss-Straße 4, 63755 Alzenau, Germany (we, us and our). Operating in accordance to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity is of utmost importance for Hyundai Motorsport. Therefore, we have built a European Compliance Management System:

Compliance Culture

1. Dedication
We dedicate the necessary time and resources to implement and manage an effective compliance structure that promotes respect to applicable laws and internal policies among our employees across Europe.

On behalf of Hyundai Motorsport Hyundai Motor Europe has established a dedicated compliance function of which Mr. Hyun-Soo Kim is Chief Compliance Officer. He reports directly to Hyundai Motor Europe’s CEO.

2. Spreading Awareness
We make sure that the employees know and understand how to conduct business in line with applicable laws and in accordance to our values. With this purpose, we have created a European Code of Conduct that reflects the company’s key legal obligations and ethical standards. The Code of Conduct is supplemented by specific policies and guidelines on topics that are of high relevance for the organization.

Likewise, we provide our managers and employees with regular training that helps them avoiding illegal and/or unethical practices and taking the right decision.

3. Risk Management
Our Compliance team is in charge of identifying and monitoring the main risks our organization and our business units are exposed to. Additionally, procedures and measures to control and/or mitigate those risks are implemented and regularly reviewed.

4. Report your concerns
An early identification of possible violations of applicable laws or of our Code of Conduct is key for us to take appropriate actions in a timely manner. Therefore, it is important that you inform us in case you become aware or suspicious of certain misconduct. We will only use the personal data gathered through this website as set out in this Policy. Below you will find information on how we use your personal data, for which purposes your personal data is used, with whom it is shared and what control and information rights you have.

Privacy Policy

1. Informational use of the website

When you visit our website for informational reasons, i.e. without registering for any of our provided services and without providing us with personal data in any other form, we automatically collect your IP address in order to provide you with our website and to ensure system stability and efficiency and to implement proper safeguards as to the security of our website and services..

The personal data automatically collected is necessary to provide the website, Article 6 sec. 1 sent. 1 lit. b GDPR as far as this is necessary to operate our website or Article 6 sec. 1 sent. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) with regards to our use of technical information to enhance our systems, make your usage of the websites more convenient or ensure the security of our websites. This is based on our legitimate interest as the data used for these purposes are stored for a limited period and do not allow us to personally identify a user.

Personal data that is collected is deleted automatically after the above mentioned purposes are fulfilled.

2. Newsletter

If you have given your consent, we will send you a newsletter to inform you about news and promotions on the activities related to the activities of Hyundai Motorsport, its affiliates and partners. Your data will not be passed on by us to those third parties to whose offers we refer you through the newsletter, unless you have consented to this.

The legal basis for sending the newsletter is Article 6 sec. 1 sent. 1 lit. a GDPR.

3. Cross border data transfers

Within the scope of our information sharing activities set out above, your personal data may be transferred to other countries (including countries outside the EEA) which may have different data protection standards than your country of residence. Our servers are located in Korea. We have proper guarantees with the involved third parties in place (e.g. other Hyundai group companies operating the websites on our behalf) to ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data. Please note that data processed in a foreign country may be subject to foreign laws and accessible to foreign governments, courts, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies. However, we will endeavor to take reasonable measures to keep up an adequate level of data protection also when sharing your personal data with such countries.
