About Emil
The son of Finnish rally legend Sebastian Lindholm, rising rally star Emil comes from a family with a lot of motorsport heritage. He made his WRC debut at Rally Poland in 2017 at the tender age of 21-years-old. The Finn has found success in both national and international rallying competitions, winning the Finnish Rally Championship in 2021 and WRC2 the following year.
Following a triumphant run with Skoda, Emil joined our Hyundai Motorsport Driver development Programme (HMDP) in June 2023 in hopes of continuing this streak in new machinery. He will continue to contest the WRC2 category with our i20 N Rally2, starting from Rally Estonia.
The relaunched Hyundai Motorsport Driver development Programme aims to build the future of our team by providing drivers with an environment and dedicated resources to become the next generation of Rally1 driver candidates.
