About Fabrizio
Fabrizio’s motorsport career began in karts in his home country of Paraguay. He later transitioned to rallying in 2016, taking part in regional and continental competitions. In 2019, he entered his first WRC event in Sweden in the JWRC classification, where he would continue to compete across the next two years. 2020 saw him begin competing with our i20 R5 in his native Paraguay.
For 2022, Fabrizio, affectionately known as Fau, joined the our official team in WRC2 with the i20 N Rally2 – in which he competed first with Carlos del Barrio and then current co-driver, Marcelo der Ohannesian. In 2023, the duo returned to WRC2 for a second consecutive season with our team.
Fabrizio is also part of the Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing Junior Driver programme in 2023, which supports rally and racing stars to develop their careers, with the ultimate aim for them to progress into our teams at the highest level of their sporting discipline.
