About Kevin

After a successful national karting career, Kevin began his racing journey in single-seaters, competing in the European F3 Open Championship at the age of 16. He claimed his first title two years later in 2011, taking the Auto GP crown. Kevin continued to race in GP2 and GP3 series until 2017, at which time he made the switch to sportscars and contested a full season in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup. In 2018 Kevin transitioned to TCR racing and entered the final five rounds of the FIA World Touring Car Cup. The move to the pinnacle of touring cars was successful, with the Italian claiming both a podium and a win at Race of Japan. He took an additional five WTCR podiums in 2019. Most recently, Kevin fought for the 2021 title in the TCR Italy Touring Car Championship, winning four races on his way to the second spot in the standings. In our Veloster N ETCR, Kevin will contest the first three rounds of the FIA ETCR – eTouring Car World Cup.

Q&A

Q1. Who is your motorsport idol?
Definitely Robert Kubica. Not only is he my idol, but I also raced for his team in karting. He has been my reference point throughout my whole career and now we have become good friends.

Q2. What are your hobbies?
I love sports, both watching and playing. I do a lot of track and off-road cycling as part of my training.

Q3. What is your ideal destination for a holiday?
Wherever there’s heat, sun and sand.

Q4. Which profession would you have chosen if you hadn’t become a race driver?
I think I’d still be a sportsman of some kind. I like to train and I do it a lot, so maybe a cyclist. Thanks to my motorsport experience, I also enjoy working for TV as a Commentator, so that would be an option too.

Q5. What is your favourite food?
Well it’s easy to say I love Italian food! I definitely like BBQs and pasta – we are a very blessed nation in terms of food.

Q6. Describe yourself in 3 words
I don’t know…those are my three words!
