One of motorsport’s most iconic and challenging events, the legendary Safari Rally is on the WRC itinerary for another year after making its return in 2021. Regarded as the ultimate test of man and machine, the new-look Kenyan event retains its unforgiving character but in a format that’s well-suited to modern day WRC. Crews must navigate rocky and rutted roads amongst stunning scenery and African wildlife. Additionally, the unpredictable weather of the region has the potential to turn the dusty trails into treacherous mud-baths. Based in Nairobi, the Service Park and stages will be located near Lakes Naivasha and Elmenteita in the northwest of the city in the Great Rift Valley.
