BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse will add a third car for the FIA Kumho TCR World Tour finale at Macau, with 2025 race winner Néstor Girolami rejoining the team.

The Argentine driver, who has competed in TCR South America aboard an Elantra N TCR this season, strengthens the team as they aim to clinch both Drivers’ and Teams’ titles at the prestigious event.

Mikel Azcona leads the individual standings, 33 points ahead of team-mate Norbert Michelisz and 39 clear of Santiago Urrutia, the best placed non-Hyundai driver. Azcona and Michelisz’s combined efforts put BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse just 48 points behind in the Teams’ standings ahead of the season finale.

Girolami was part of the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse for the 2024 and 2025 season. He scored four victories with the team, including winning Race 1 from pole position when the series visited the Macau Guia Circuit last year. He finished sixth in the Drivers’ standings in both seasons.

This year Girolami has won four races in TCR South America during his first full season in the championship with the Hyundai MSA team. With four races remaining – the first two of which come this weekend – he sits second in the standings.
