Williams leads quartet of Hyundai Motorsport customer crews in Scotland

Four Hyundai Motorsport customer crews are on the entry list as the British Rally Championship heads to Aberdeenshire in Scotland for the Grampian Forest Rally. The quartet will be led by British championship regular James Williams. The Welshman enjoyed a strong start to the year, with fourth place finishes in both the first two events of the year, but he and co-driver Ross Whittock are still waiting for their first podium of the season in the national series. They will be joined on the stages by fellow i20 N Rally2 crew Alan Carmichael and Bonnie Papper. Irish driver Kyle White continues his national season with his i20 R5, while Scottish Championship regulars John Wink and Neil Shanks join the entry, albeit not entered for the national championship.

After two podiums, Zaldivar seeks first wins of season in Paraguay

The Paraguayan Rally Championship reaches its fourth round with defending champion and i20 N Rally2 driver Fabrizio Zaldivar still without a victory. However, Rally de Colonias Unidas offers he and co-driver Marcelo der Ohannesian the chance to continue the progression of results over the recent rounds. The duo finished third at round two of the season, then second on round three. They return to an event where they finished second last year, after losing the lead on the last stage of the event, needing to regain ground in the championship points if they are successfully defend their 2023 title.

i20 N Rally2 reach penultimate round of German championship season

Drivers Nico Knacker and Martin Christ continue their seasons in the German Rally Championship at this weekend’s penultimate round of the season at the Rallye Stemweder Berg. Both men have been regulars in the top ten so far this season, with Knacker – alongside co-driver Thomas Puls – scoring the best finish so far in fourth. 140 kilometres of stages await the crews on the Nord-Rhein Westphalia-based event.
