Technical Specifications 2024
We are proud to present the Hyundai i20 N Rally2.
Designed from a blank sheet of paper, the car is our second rallying design for customer teams and drivers. Using the five years’ experience of supporting our customers with the championship-winning i20 R5, the new chassis will offer an improved all-round package.
The design process began in January 2020 with a specialised group of designers and engineers leveraging the experience of the i20 R5 project. In doing so, they have been able to take advantage of the fantastic growth of Customer Racing since 2015, which has seen the department grow from a handful of people to a team of 60.
After an initial shakedown at our base in Alzenau, Germany, the i20 N Rally2 was rigorously tested on both the gravel of Italy and the snow and ice of Sweden in early 2021, covering over 1000km combined. This testing allowed our team to hone the core elements of the design.
Since its debut, the i20 N Rally2 has taken its first regional title in the Slovenian Rally Championship and another in the Spanish Superchampionship, as well as numerous wins and podiums. In 2022, our customers claimed 37 class wins, 93 podiums and over 370 stage victories.

New suspension components and dampers give the car more driver-friendly handling characteristics on all surfaces – vital for the Rally2 category, which forms the basis for national and regional championships as well as WRC2 and WRC3 classes
