IMSA squads aim to add to winning start to season at Sebring

After a winning start to their IMSA Michelin Sportscar Challenge season, Bryan Herta Autosport’s Elantra N TCR teams arrive at Sebring International Raceway for the second of the two Floridian races to begin the season.

After the four hours at Daytona, this weekend’s encounter – mercifully, given the Sebring circuit’s famously bumpy track surface – returns to the competitors to the two-hour format that makes up most of the season. After their Daytona victory Preston Brown and Denis Dupont lead the series into round two, with the Bryan Herta Autosport teammates Bryson Morris and Mark Wilkins second in the early standings.

The squad’s line-up is again completed by the #9 Elantra N TCR of Suellio Almeida and Madison Aust and Mason Filippi and Harry Gottsacker’s #98.

Victor Gonzalez Racing Team field a pair of Elantra N TCR – Lance Bergstein and Jon Miller sharing the #18, with Tyler Gonzalez and Eric Powell in the #99.

The Hyundai Motorsport customer line-up is completed by the Pegram Racing car of Larry and Riley Pegram, who will be hoping for better fortune this weekend after being taken out in a crash in the season opener.
