Norbert Michelisz

About Norbert

Hungarian touring car driver Norbert Michelisz, affectionately known as Norbi, has been with BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse since the i30 N TCR’s first full season of competition. Since his debut with the team in 2018, he has gone on to claim three championship titles: one in WTCR (2019) and two in TCR World Tour (2023, 2024). Norbi spent his early years surrounded by all-things engines thanks to his mechanic and part-time rally driver uncle. Before starting his on-track career, Norbi won a sim racing competition that helped propel him onto the real-life tarmac. A test at the Hungaroring led to his participation in local series and eventually a step up to the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in 2008. Norbi had ten successful seasons under his belt when he joined us in 2018, and in his time with the team since, he has claimed 33 podiums and 14 wins alongside his three championship crowns.
