Snow, ice and low visibility are a dangerous combination for normal drivers, but for our crews this is par for the course in Rally Sweden. The historic event has been a staple of the WRC calendar since 1973, formerly held in the summer months and affectionately known as the ‘Rally of the Midnight Sun’. Snowbanks and trees line the stages, and the former can prove to be friend or foe to competitors. Studded tyres are a must, and Sweden is the only round on the calendar that enforces their use. The legendary Colin’s Crest jump adds to an adrenaline fuelled rally for teams and fans alike.
