Korhola takes podium on debut in top class of Finnish competition

Benjamin Korhola made his debut in the top class of the Finnish Rally Championship at the Riihimäki-ralli (January 13) with an i20 N Rally2. In a field topped by nine entries in the SM1 category, Korhola and Sebastian Virtanen never set a stage time any lower than fourth to establish themselves in a podium position. A good weekend on the snow and ice stages was made even better on the final stage when they benefitted from a problem for a rival to move up a further position to take second place to start their season.
