About Cándido
A Spain Gravel champion with José Antonio Suárez in 2017, Cándido is a highly respected co-driver and has competed in over 250 rallies during his career. The Spaniard has experience in a variety of worldwide professional championships, including the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA European Rally Championship and the International Rally Cup.
Although Cándido had competed on the WRC circuit for many years, his first appearance in the top tier of the series coincided with the start of his working relationship with Dani in 2021. Together they have become a formidable force inside the cockpit, particularly on gruelling gravel events. During their first two seasons together, they have finished on the podium in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece.
