About Janne
Following in his father’s footsteps, Janne made his rallying debut as a co-driver in 2006, competing at the OP Suonenjoki Ralli. He first teamed up with Esapekka in 2010, quickly forming a strong partnership. The pair progressed through the ranks together, taking class victories in ERC and WRC2, before making the step up to a WRC factory drive in 2017 following a dominant WRC2 title winning season.
The Finn has claimed 12 WRC podiums alongside Esapekka, including four podium finishes in the 2023 season. His career highlight is undoubtedly an excellent home victory at Rally Finland in 2017.
