The role of our Marketing colleagues has a hugely positive effect on the way you see and experience our company. It is their role to shape how the public perceives our WRC, HMDP and Customer Racing activities.
Behind the scenes is a team of motivated individuals who work closely with all departments in the company, as well as our Hyundai markets and partners around the world. One thing is for certain: no two days are the same.
Ever since the foundation of our WRC activities, we have sought to innovate with our approach to marketing. A perfect example of this is our impressive combined hospitality and service unit, which has set new standards in the WRC. It is the ideal place to host our guests and partners.
The marketing team is responsible for how our guests experience a rally event, from start to finish. We offer a variety of programmes from a one-day introductory programme through to helicopter stage viewing and once-in-a-lifetime co-drives. We make sure that every guest feels valued and leaves with happy memories.
The co-drive experience, a passenger ride with one of our WRC drivers, is a firm favourite, and includes on-board video for them to relive the action. From time-to-time, we also run fan competitions on our website for a chance to win one!
With Hyundai subsidiaries, distributors and dealerships in over 200 countries, there are events happening regularly all over the world. Our marketing colleagues provide WRC assets for such shows, including replica cars that require carefully logistics and planning.
Our brand identity determines the look and feel of our company across all areas. Marketing’s responsibility is to oversee how our branding and design is implemented – from sponsor logos and colour schemes, to team clothing and merchandise, as well as presentations and advertising. It is a painstaking but vital process, which allows us to be clearly and consistently recognisable as Hyundai Motorsport at all times.
