The Circuito do Estoril plays host to the Portuguese round of the 2021 WTCR season and offers an exhilarating mix of technical challenges for drivers and teams. Located 20 miles west of the nation’s capital city of Lisbon, the 4.182 km circuit boasts noticeable elevation changes, a maximum gradient of nearly 7%, and an extensive 986 metre start/finish straight. With a number of heavy braking zones, including two hairpins, the track provides plenty of opportunities for overtaking and exciting racing.
The Circuito do Estoril is best known for hosting the Formula 1 Portuguese Grand Prix from 1984 to 1996.
