New customer competition announced
Customers competing with our i20 R5 rally car will be eligible to take part in a brand new competition at the popular Monza Rally Show in December, bringing the 2018 season to an exciting finale.
The Hyundai i20 R5 Trophy will run as a special category within the three-day show, held at the iconic Autodromo di Monza in Italy, offering a prize fund to the top-three drivers competing with our R5 car.
The Hyundai i20 R5 Trophy will be open to any team or driver entering an i20 R5 into the event, whether a regular competitor or a debutant. Teams will be able to call on the services of our Customer Racing department for spare parts during the event, with a dedicated service truck on site.
Money in the bank
The top three drivers will be awarded money from a prize fund to go towards their 2019 seasons with our i20 R5 car. The winner will take 10,000 with second and third placed finishers securing 5,000 and 3,000 respectively.
A number of star drivers and huge crowds are expected over the weekend, with stages set around the famous Grand Prix circuit and incorporating sections of the pit lane and historic banking.
